At ICETREK, we are a team of local Icelandic guides passionate about the Northern Lights. Your operation is intentionally small and personal, allowing us to focus on quality rather than quantity.
We keep your groups small, with a maximum of 16 guests, ensuring a more relaxed and interactive experience. We travel in a specially modified 4x4 bus built for Icelandic winter conditions, giving us access to remote areas other vehicles can’t reach — darker skies, fewer crowds, and better viewing.
Your guides monitor weather and aurora forecasts throughout the evening and adjust the route in real time. With us, you’re not just joining a tour — you’re joining a true Northern Lights hunt led by passionate locals.
