Best time of day
All year around, any time of the day, preferably daylight hours. If you're visiting on a clear day, I recommend walking this route in the afternoon to take full advantage of the sunshine.
Precautions
Be careful walking uphill or downhill and on cobble stones at certain points.
The route includes some stairs which can be avoided by taking a smaller detour, so it is possible to do it with wheelchair or stroller.
Some of the stops have benches nearby where it is possible to sit.
It is always good to have a rain jacket with you.
If it is winter time and the roads are icy, I recommend you wear spikes on your shoes.
